Sylvia Amaya is a Washington, D.C. metropolitan based professional makeup artist with over a decade of experience. Her expertise ranges from bridal, video, special effects, fashion editorials and more.

She keeps a finger on the pulse of what's next in the beauty industry and has been recognized all throughout the MUA community. Her work has been published in the Washingtonian Magazine, The Washington Post and Elements Magazine. She was featured on the cover of D/CITY and has worked with Sephora, Hourglass, MAC and Glam Squad.

As a first generation Latina, Sylvia approaches makeup with a multi-cultural lens and is well equipped to work with any skin color, age or sex.
